Film sensations Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner landed in London’s Westfield Stratford City on Wednesday to present “Breaking Dawn: Part I” as thousands of teens gathered to catch a glimpse of the “Twilight” trio.
Accompanied by the film’s director, Bill Condon, and some celebrities- Pixie Lott, Sugababe Heidi Range, Holly Valance, X Factor judge Tulisa- the “Twilight” army posed for pictures and  walked up and down on the red carpet greeting the legion of fans, many of them camped for over 30 hours.
Two days later the stars flew to Barcelona to present the film at El Palacio de Congresos del Fòrum (Hot BuZz (mag) photographer was there to capture the moment), this time without Stewart, who stayed in London.
“Breaking Dawn: Part I”,  the fourth installment of the franchise, sees the wedding between Edward and Bella and she getting pregnant with a half-vampire baby.
“Twilight” saga will conclude next year with the release of “Breaking Dawn: Part II” on November 16.
“Breaking Dawn: Part I” opened in theaters last Friday.

Interview with Liquid Fuse

Not everyday one finds oneself face to face with one of these bands capable to make you feel, just by listening a single minute of their music, they are going to reinvent rock and roll. Without any doubt, Liquid Fuse is one of those bands.  With a frontman as talented and charismatic like a young Freddie Mercury and a bunch of inspirational musicians playing at the same level as Guns N’ Roses when they were writing the songs for “Appetite for Destruction” (Geffen Records, 1987) at the Hell House, it is sure these boys would set people talking about LF in the future.

The Band
Joe Wareham - VocalsJamie North – GuitarLee Bentley – GuitarDwight Brady – DrumsWill Carroll – BassDan Kelly – ex-Bass player (played with them at Surface)

HB - When did you realised you wanted to be part of this crazy world of rock‘n‘roll? What was it that attracted you in the first place and how did you start as a band?
Individually, we’ve enjoyed rock music since we were young, and people don’t need much persuading to want to be rock stars! There’s a timeless awe around it: the stadia, the thousands of people, the crazy performances. While other fashions come and go, rock ‘n’ roll is always is cool.
The band started with Jamie and Lee meeting at college around 5-6 years ago – they’ve played and written together ever since. They got through a metric tonne of other band members until Joe came along and started putting some lyrics to their music; everything just gelled. After that, it was just a case of finding a rhythm section, which came in the form of Dwight and Dan (and now Will, replacing Dan).

HB - I guess this is a usual question for you guys, but ¿where does the name of Liquid Fuse come from?  What’s behind it?
Funnily enough, Jamie was messing around with a random name generator online…he got one random name with “Liquid” in it, and another with “Fuse” in it, and he put them both together and liked them. That simple! It is a unique name though, and if you search us on Google you’ll find we’re most of the top results – tip for new bands: make sure your name doesn’t have any competition!

HB - After listening to tracks like Loaded Gun or  Sands and finding out that you include extracts from AC/DC’s “Back in Black” and Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child” in your live shows, it’s clear your influences are based on old school rock’n’roll, but ¿How would you describe your music? ¿Do you think it was a good idea to come back to the basics?
We wouldn’t say we’d gone “back to basics” as such. Our music is clearly influenced in a lot of old rock ‘n’ roll, particularly 80s hard rock, but we feel (and critics seem to agree with us) that though our influences are clear, we do something new and different to that sound. When people hear us play, people tend to say less that we “take them back to those days” and more that we are refreshing, which confirms our belief that what we are doing isn’t just re-hashing the same old stuff people have heard before – in the words of Bruce Lee, we are absorbing what is useful, discarding what is useless, and adding what is uniquely our own.

HB - Talking about the mainstream musical scene and shows like XFactor and Britain‘s Got Talent, what’s your opinion about these kind of “artists” aired on prime time radio who come from this kind of “musical” background? Do you think LF could change the perspective on emerging British bands?
We don’t have any beef with individual artists – they’re doing what they can, and good luck to them. The problem is the music industry and the media machine, which combined have put increasingly lower emphasis on talent and more on churning out talentless stars to be built up, consumed, and thrown away. Liquid Fuse would be a refreshing breath of rock ‘n’ roll air, focusing on what is important: real music from real musicians, and great performances. Emerging as a real rock band is a much harder, longer route, but like we said before, rock ‘n’ roll has an amazing longevity about it, from the music to the fans, and it is not as disposable as mainstream pop.

HB - Just give our readers an inside look about “Loaded Gun” Ep. ¿Where do the lyrics come from? ¿Where do you find the inspiration to write your lyrics?¿Is there any special/hidden meaning in them?
Joe writes most of the lyrics (though the song Loaded Gun was a joint effort between Joe, Jamie and Lee), and a lot of the songs have the classic components – girls, rock and having a good time. It’s no secret that there’s a fair bit of innuendo around the chorus and verses of Loaded Gun; Now It’s Time is a more straightforward song about a “Carpe Diem” or grab-life-by-the-balls approach; Sands is about finally finding a particular girl after a long struggle.

HB - You were crowned winners of Cravin' Tunez Worthing Battle Of The Bands 2011, winners of Surface Festival Regional Final (London & South East),  and finalists on Surface International Showcase, which took place last October 1, ¿What it is your opinion about these kind of competitions? ¿How was your experience in them?
These competitions aren’t the be-all and end-all, but they certainly have their place for any emerging bands – they give you exposure, recognition and the possibility of some prizes. On of the key things is that it gives your fans and friends the opportunity to rally behind you…as long as you don’t do too many and wear your fanbase out by begging them to help you all the time, you’re giving everyone a sense of joint purpose…winning is a nice boost. The other main thing is that competitions (and later, judge feeback) force you to look at your band critically, build on what you do well and work weaknesses. We’ve enjoyed our experiences with these competitions, and we’ve met some great people and bands along the way.

HB - ¿What is the coolest thing about being a member of/ in LF?Writing songs, playing live, the groupies, performing with other bands…?
There are a million great things about being in Liquid Fuse, like the fact that we’re a second family, having a lot of fun, writing songs…but really, nothing comes close to playing a great gig. Being on stage in front of loads of people who are going crazy, screaming and singing your lyrics back to you is the coolest thing in the world. So we’d like to thank everyone out there that’s done that for us, and for all their support – love you!
Second best thing would be writing a new lick or line and getting those butterflies in your stomach because you KNOW that’s a new song right there.
“We'd love to play with AC/DC. We think we would suit each others’ style.”

HB - Why should someone who's never heard of your band check you guys out?
Because listening to our music will put a smile on your face. We challenge you to listen to our EP (or, even better, listen to us live) and not enjoy yourself. If not, find us and comment on our page and tell us why!

HB -  You played at Indig02 and other festivals on the search for new musical talents but ¿What would be the perfect/dream venue/festival for you to play?
We all have different answers, from Download Festival to Wembley to Madison Square Garden to Rock in Rio….ultimately, we just want to get up in the biggest place possible and look upon a sea of faces in front of us, ready to rock. That’s the dream – proper stadium rock.

HB - ¿Which band/artists would you love to share the stage with? ¿And what band/artist would you love to hang out after a gig? ¿Why?
There are a load of bands we’d love to play with but none with a bigger, more timeless appeal than AC/DC. Have you ever heard anyone say they don’t like them? We think we would suit each others’ style.
In terms of post-show, we’d love to hang out with some of the crazier guys – the old GNR line-up, Mötley Crüe, Steel Panther. Chickenfoot would be great to hang out with too! Really, we’d love to play with any of these bands.

HB - How do you see yourself as a band, say, in 10 years time?
Playing at Wembley and changing people’s ideas on how good a live show can be. Seriously!

HB - We give you carte blanche to say whatever you want to let our readers know about what’s going on in the LF universe.
Why thank you! Well, it’s an exciting time – we’ve just got a new bass player, Will, and we’ve just taken on some great management so the rest of the year is going to be spent getting ourselves together and getting a website done. We’re also in the process of recording a charity single, Fiona, which we plan to tour across the UK to raise some cash. Oh, and did I mention a show with Black Spiders in April?
By early next year, we’ll be looking to have everything ready to go (website, image, new material) and play a showcase in London to get noticed by the industry. We’re serious about taking this to the next step.

Film hero Tom Cruise joined stars on London red carpet last night to present “Ghost Protocol” (Paramount Pictures), the fourth instalment of the action-packed spy franchise “Mission Impossible”.

Cruise, who once again plays IMF agent Ethan Hunt, accompanied by co-stars, Paula Patton, Lea Seydoux, A list British actor/comedian Simon Pegg, director Brad Bird and producer Bryan Burk, attended the media, posed for photographers and chatted with fans, who gathered at the BFI IMAX entrance.
Other guest attending the premiere included X-files actress Gillian Anderson, Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, top model and reality TV celebrity Caprice and former pop star Sinitta.
On this occasion, blamed for a terrorist attack on the Kremlin, Ethan Hunt and the entire IMF agency are disavowed by the U.S. government when the president initiates the “Ghost Protocol.” Forced to go off the grid and left without resources or backup, Hunt must somehow clear the agency’s name and prevent another attack. Complicating matters even more, Ethan must undertake this impossible mission with a group of fellow IMF fugitives whose true motives are suspect.
The new “MI” flick, which was the 8th Dubai International Film Festival opener, is first showing on Wednesday December 21.

Thursday during the week of CMA Fest, Miranda Lambert held her Fan Club Party at the Fontanel Mansion.

Miranda mentioned she got car sickness on the way over to the venue, kind of strange because she has really never looked better...

The first song she sang was "Only Prettier"...

Even though she may have been under the weather, she didn't let it show...

And she did have a couple of special guests for us...the first one was RaeLynn from the Voice...

Here is a song that RaeLynn and Miranda wrote together called "Lie"...

You could tell Miranda was really proud of her which was neat to see...

Then she brought out the Pistol Annies...

Here are the Pistol Annies singing "Takin' Pills"....

Overall, it was a fun party....can't wait to see it next year...

Luke Bryan Fan Club 2012

To contact us Click HERE
Thursday during CMA Fest Week, Luke Bryan held his Fan Club party at Marathon Music Works.

The venue was really cool...it was an old warehouse I think....very big and lots of room to move around in...

One of the first songs he performed was "Drunk on You"...

Luke has just been on fire lately...here is his next single, "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye"...

I have been going to see Luke for years at places he has played for free and when hardly anyone else knew who he was...it is just not that way anymore...

I think this might be Luke's best song so far still..."We Rode in Trucks"...

And here is one of those songs off the Spring Break EPs, "Suntan City"...

Luke is such a great performer and the girls just love to watch him dance...he seems like he is a good guy so it will be fun to see where his career goes from here...

Eric Chuch "Stage Black" Recap

To contact us Click HERE
Thursday during CMA Fest, Eric Church has his Fan Club Party...as always it was a unique event.  He screened a cut of his movie, "Stage Black" at the Belcourt.  It was a recap of where he has come and how he got there.  Any Eric Church fans will be very happy to see it, I can't wait to see how it looks when it is finished.

After the movie, Eric came out for a Q&A...

Eric got some questions about the movie and some suggestions for what he should do with his career.  It was interesting because some people actually questioned Eric about what he was doing, not just kissing his ass.

I got a short video to show what the Q&A was like...

Katie Armiger/Matt Stillwell Fan Club Party 2012

To contact us Click HERE
Friday morning of CMA Fest, Katie Armiger and Matt Stillwell held a joint Fan Club Party at Margaritaville.  It was a nice way to see two artists at once...

Katie Armiger started it off with "Kiss Me Now"...

It was our anniversary the day of the party.  I sent a tweet out that we were celebrating at the party.  Before the show Matt Stillwell was just walking around talking to everyone.  He remembered the tweet and talked to us about how he got married in Vegas too.  He even sang this song sort of to us....it was a pretty cool thing.

The format was each sang a song then it was the other one's turn.  It was fun to hear them in such a quiet setting...

Here is Matt's Current single..."Ignition"...

One of Katie's best songs for sure is "Scream"...

Even Matt appreciated her singing...

I am not sure most people there knew Matt before "Ignition", but I knew him from "Shine" before...

And finally, Katie's latest single, which is just a cool song, "Better in a Black Dress"..

This party is what CMA Fest is all about, an intimate show where you actually get to know the artists...

Kip Moore came out and played a short set...it was a nice, small venue so it was cool...

One of the first songs he sang was "Beer Money"...

Kip did some stories about the same songs...it was cool to hear some of the background of the songs from his album..

Another song he played was "Drive Me Crazy"...

The HGTV Lodge was cool...it got you close to a new artist and gave him a chance to tell some short stories about his songs..

Florida Georgia Line at CMA Fest 2012

To contact us Click HERE
Normally, I am not writing about a performance at CMA Fest unless it is at a Fan Club Party or an event...but since I just love Florida Georgia Line music, I thought I would do one...

The first song they played was "Backwoods Beauty Queen"...

Florida Georgia Line has been around for a bit but they are still to get really popular.  The BMI stage was much busier on Saturday then the rest of the time...

They played most of their new EP...here is "Shine"...

And "Tell Me How You Like It"...

You can see from the videos, the crowd was really going crazy...

And they wrapped it up with "Anything Like Me"...

Awesome show...anytime they are in your area, get there!

Chuck Wicks Fan Club Party 2012

To contact us Click HERE
On Sunday of CMA Fest, Chuck Wicks held his Fan Club Party at Margaritaville..

Before the party, I noticed that there were about 10 guys there and the rest were women.  I tweeted that out and Chuck asked who put that out there and once I raised my hand he was giving trouble about it the rest of the day.  It really was all women but it was still a great show.

One of the first songs he played was "Old School"...for sure my favorite.

He also played his new single which I really like..."Whole Damn Thing"...

The party was divided into two sections, VIP and General Admission.  The VIP people got to sit in front and the General Admission people were standing in the back..

He also played a song he wrote that is going to be on Jason Aldean's new album, "I Don't Do Lonely Well"...

He also played another new song that will be on his new album, which he hopes to have out soon...it is called "Kitchen Table"...

The party was really good and Chuck showed his sense of humor more here than I had seen before...I think he will keep bringing the ladies in but I will come back to hear the songs.

Colt Ford and Jana Kramer Concert Recap - Kansas City 6/28/12

To contact us Click HERE
Last night at the Kansas City Power and Light District, they continued the Hot Country Nights series with Colt Ford and Jana Kramer.  And when they say it was Hot Country Nights, they were not kidding.  When I got there, my phone said it was 107.  Made for a tough night for the audience and the performers.

Up first was Jana Kramer...

She used to be on One Tree Hill and Entourage which brought some people out.  I think she may have sang some songs from the show but I am not sure.

Because of that, I didn't know for sure the names of the songs...I think this is "Should Have Just Called"...

This one is called "Goodbye California"...

She is a really cute girl and her style of singing is cute too...she is a girl who sings girl songs...

So far, she has released one single and it is a big hit..."Why You Wanna"..

Next up was Colt Ford....not everyone likes the mixture of Country and Rap but I think it is fun.  Colt is a proud American and never is shy to talk about it...

One of the first songs he sang is one of my favorites, "Country Thang"..

Colt has been around enough, he has a huge following now under the radar.  Even though he is not mainstream, he has some very hardcore fans.

Another one of the songs I really like was "Ride Through the Country" which he did with John Micheal Montgomery...

Even though it was so hot, Colt was full of energy all night.  He really was having a great time and so was the audience.,,

His current single is with Jake Owen, here it is, "Back"...

Last time I saw Colt Ford in Kansas City, he said Jason Aldean's next single would be "Dirt Road Anthem" and if it went big, it would really help him out.  Well it sure did, here is the original version without Brantley Gilbert....

I know Colt Ford is not everyone's cup of tea.  I think that is what makes Country so great, it is one genre but it really has genres within it that everyone can enjoy.  I think Colt Ford throws a great party, if he comes to your town, check it out!

Blake Shelton Concert Recap - Kansas City 6/30/12

To contact us Click HERE
To celebrate the opening of the Microsoft Store in Oak Park Mall, they brought in Blake Shelton for a free concert.

To get to the concert took a little work.  You had to go on Thursday to pick up a bracelet at the Grand Opening.  People were lining up at 10 PM the night before so they could meet Blake.  I didn't do that so I just got there in time to get a ticket to the show...

Then on Saturday, most people got to the concert a couple hours early to get a good spot.  To get in, you had that bracelet and then they took your picture like you were on the red carpet so it took a little time to get through the line...

Once you got in, Microsoft did a top notch job of taking care of the people there.  Really more concert promoters could take note of how well they did.  They had free food, tons of free water and even slushies.  They were promoting the hell out of their products but they never forgot to make sure the people attending were having fun and safe...

To kick off the concert, it was "All About Tonight"...

And then one that sounded really good for the weather, "Some Beach"...

Another important part of the concert was the heat...it was around 102 and this parking lot was held in a parking lot at 2 PM...it took some dedicated fans to make it through.  Had to be a little careful too, some of the girls who weren't so prepared there passed out...

Blake always tells a story about how there was all kinds of music in his house growing up...here is a montage of that with "Kiss My Country Ass" at the end...

No matter how many songs Blake ever does, to me this will always be his signature song, "Ol' Red"...

And here is another great song, "Nobody But Me"...

Blake seemed like he was really happy to be performing...I think this break from the Voice was nice for him..

Here is his current single, "Over".

And this has always been one of my favorites and I never get tired of hearing it..."The More I Drink"...

Performers that come to Kansas City don't always realize that most of the places they perform are on the Missouri side and not Kansas.  Blake asked if he was in Kansas or Missouri...he was happy he was in Kansas because he spends almost as much time in Kansas as in Oklahoma thanks to deer hunting...so he dedicated the song "Home" to his second home, KANSAS...

For his encore, he did "Footloose"...

And "God Gave Me You"...

The concert was so fun and Microsoft did such a great job putting on the event.  Blake seemed better than ever which made the intense heat totally worth it...
