Last night at the Granada in Lawrence, KS was the Casey Donahew Band.  This was my third time seeing them there and they were as good as ever.

Phil Hamilton opened the show but I missed a ton of that being back stage meeting the band....he was good though.


After we got to meet the band, we can back around to the front and got a pretty decent spot for the show.  The band sounded good as always and the crowd was really into them...


It really is amzing to me every time how well people know the lyrics even they don't really get any radio play here....The crowd knew pretty much every word to every song...


One of the songs that everyone knew the words to was "Nowhere Fast"...


The songs they sing are mostly about Texas, but people in Kansas can still relate.  I think the Texas attitude might be moving closer and closer to Kansas every single day.


And one of those songs about Ft Worth, "Stockyards"...


Casey Donahew Band puts on such a good show.  It seems like they have been coming here every six months...I would check them out next time if you missed this one!
